Feel better the natural way!
All healthcare providers are having to adjust their office procedures to keep patients safe during the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
I ask all patients to:
1) Stay home if you have been exposed or are experiencing symptoms:
I ask all patients to stay home and immediately consult your medical doctor if you think you have been exposed or are having symptoms of COVID-19. These include, but are but limited to: fever, cough, and shortness of breath. If you are unsure of your status, you must call before coming in so I can provide appropriate guidance.
2) Please arrive on time for your appointment:
I have adjusted hours and scheduling so that patients will not encounter each other in the waiting room. If you have not been exposed and are not having symptoms, please arrive on time. This will allow you to come and go without encountering other patients. Safe social distancing!
3) Please wear a cloth face covering/mask:
Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when coming into and leaving the building and my clinic. We can discuss whether or not you should wear it while I treat you after you've arrived. The CDC has issued new guidance on this topic since the initial wave of infections in this country. Please see my latest blog post for more on this.
The Minnesota Department of Health has a very short and helpful video on wearing face coverings. You can find it here.
In addition to adjusting hours and scheduling, I am:
A healthy diet, appropriate exercise, adequate sleep, and acupuncture can help you keep your immune system functioning at its best to avoid becoming sick. I can make specific diet and supplement suggestions to meet your particular needs. Please call if you have questions or concerns. I am here to help!
