Xinsong "Linda" Li, L.Ac.

Linda Li received her medical education, in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine, in Kunming, China and also received a Certificate of Clinical Research Methodology from the Chinese Medical Academy in Beijing, China. She was a member of and served as Secretary of the Board of the Kunming City Traditional Chinese Medical Institution.

Linda Li served as In-patient doctor with Kunming City Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in Yunnan, China for 8 years. At the end of this period, she was promoted to Physician-in-Charge of Internal Medicine at the hospital. She worked in this capacity for 5 years. Also, during her thirteen-year tenure with the hospital, Dr. Li published 10 medical clinical research papers in medical journals in China.

Xinsong "Linda" Li is licensed as an acupuncturist with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and has over 20 years of clinical experience in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She had been in practice with Carolyn Bowles, MD, in the Southdale Medical Center for 5 years, and with Jeffrey Sawyer, MD, at Parkdale Plaza Building in St. Louis Park, also for 5 years. What can acupuncture do for me?

Linda Li uses acupuncture and Chinese herbs, individually or in combination, to help her patients achieve their maximum health and wellmess potential, and to manage any ongoing medical issues that they have.

For those patients who are uncomfortable with the use of needles, Ms. Li is very skilled in the practice of acupressure. Acupressure does not require any needles.

What can acupuncture do for me?

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can successfully treat or manage a wide range of common medical ailments including the increasingly common symptoms of long COVID. In addition, it is very effective in reducing side effects from the chemotherapy and radiation therapy used in the treatment of cancer. It can also be quite effective in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and in helping to quit smoking.
